Resetting your email password

If you’ve forgotten your password or need to reset it, follow the steps below to regain access to your College’s Microsoft accounts. 

Step-by-step instructions 

Step 1: Open your preferred web browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) in Private or Incognito mode. 
Then, go to one of the following websites:

For the last two, click on the Sign in/ Log in buttons.  

Step 2: Use your college email in the format: 
firstname.lastname@myokanagan.bc.ca 
Click Next. 

Step 3: Select "Forgot password?" 

Click the Forgot password link under the password field. 

Step 4: Complete the CAPTCHA  

Fill in the Captcha. It is not case sensitive. You can click the Refresh button if the Captcha is too difficult to read. 

Step 5: Verify your identity  

Choose your preferred Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method (e.g., phone, email, app).  

If you get an error on the screen, you will need to reach out to IT Services to verify your account and get assistance setting up MFA methods. 

Step 6: Set your new password.   

Once verified, you’ll be prompted to create a new password.
